The cherimoya variety 'Perla' is a good NZ cropping variety with medium sized flavourful fruit. Mid season fruiting with relatively little seed and delicious light creamy flesh. Flowering starts October and may continue until February. Fruit ripens over a long period. Harvest when skin turns greenish - cream colour.

 

Plant early spring or summer. Prune young trees to a vase shape over the first 3-4 years. It can be moderately susceptible to anthracnose.

 

Grafting improves the tree's vitality and hastens bearing age.

 

Size: Between 50 cm and 100 cm in height.
